"Forms of therapy are a form of treatment for which patients with long-term or chronic problems understand intuitively. I have benefited very much from the two-year further education in form therapy, both in treatment and supplementary investigation." The guidance I have had has been of very high quality and together with the seminars exceeded the expectations I had in advance. All of the communicators I've talked to have said the same. "

"Course in group chemistry therapy with Joan Farrell and Ida Shaw is the best course I have been on in my 19 years in psychiatry. This is due to both theory teaching, exercises and work with their own things in the course. The lecturers were extremely wise and inspiring. "

- Arnhild Flikke, psychiatrist

Schematic therapy is a therapeutic approach developed by Jeffrey Young. The therapy form is particularly suitable for long-term, personality-related problems that have their roots in early relationships from one's childhood and adolescence. Guidance is an essential part of the education. Either 20 hours guidance with an approved standard certification supervisor or 40 hours guidance with an approved Advanced Certification Supervisor. ISST has developed specific guidelines for how the number of hours of group guidance is converted into approved guidance for each participant. This depends on the size of the group. The guidance will mainly be given in relation to admissions that the therapist has done on own group therapy. The supervisor will consider some admissions for those who want advanced certification using the Group Schema Therapy Rating Scale (GSTRS-R).

All tutors in the certification program are specialists in clinical psychology. In addition, they have an advanced certification in group chemistry therapy.

The material must be from your current practice where you use form therapy in groups. The guidance is mainly given in relation to admission the candidate has made of his own groups.
