More about the course

In schema therapy, the entire therapy process and healing of schedules is highly dependent on the therapeutic relationship.

In order to be genuine and to be able to work continuously with limited reparenting, the schedule therapist needs to be aware of their own schedules and coping behaviors - as well as knowledge of strategies for managing their own schedule activation that arise in the therapy relationship.

This course is aimed at those who - through self-therapy - want to understand more about how your schedules and coping strategies affect you as a therapist and person.

Eva Barkman, in collaboration with the Institute for Cognitive Psychotherapy in Stockholm, has developed a self-therapy group that the students can choose as self-therapy moments in their education.

It is called the needs group. During the two days of this course you will have the opportunity to experience a needs group in mini format.
