Courses in stress management and attentive presence

About the course

Learn through practical exercises how to break out of the stress coil.

Exercises in attentive presence will help you discover what makes you vulnerable to new downward spirals, why you are caught at the bottom of the coil and what you can do to break it.

A course in attentive presence is a natural sequel to courses in health mastery and lifestyle change, but it is not necessary to have attended that course in order to participate.

Attention training aims to cultivate an open and accepting attitude to own experience, without controlling the experience in any particular direction and without evaluating it.

You are based on where you are and who you are.

Presence is about opening up for what we sense, getting in touch with our feelings and that we are conscious of our thoughts and physical feelings at the moment.

Attention training teaches us to cope with what happens in more competent ways, without getting stuck in the wish that things were different than they are right now.

Attentive attendance is an ability all people have in themselves, but as the abilities most need it to be practiced to grow.
